The New Orleans Saints could be playing for a post-season spot Sunday. Now they'll have to wait a little later to kickoff, but at least they'll know exactly what's on the line.
The final regular season game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will now start at 3:25pm, thanks to flex scheduling. The game was originally set for Noon.
Despite the loss to Carolina Sunday, the Saints still have a chance to win the NFC South and get the number two seed in the playoffs along with a first-round bye. For that, the Falcons need to beat the Panthers this Sunday at Noon, followed by a black-and-gold win over Tampa Bay.
Atlanta could also put New Orleans in the playoffs tonight if the Falcons beat the 49ers on Monday Night Football.
If San Francisco wins tonight, the Saints have to win against Tampa Bay to make the playoffs. A loss and they would need some help from other teams to get in.
